Brian Nielsen will speak about "Knowledge Management in the University: Emerging Technologies and Trends at Northwestern" at the December 9th KMPro Chicago chapter meeting. He will also provide an overview of a number of projects in the works at Northwestern. He will show some software projects in development that relate to KM and will be glad to answer any questions.

Brian Nielsen is Manager of Learning Support Systems in the Information Technology division of Northwestern University (part of Academic Technologies). He also teaches in Northwestern's Masters in Communication Systems Strategy and Management graduate program. With a Ph.D. in librarianship from UNC-Chapel Hill, Brian has published and lectured extensively over a 20-year period on libraries, technology, the Internet, and information policy.
