Okay, this time these results are really allowed to be released to the public.
Last year, I mentioned a blogging survey being conducted by Julia Haberman, an Information Sciences & Economics student at the University of Applied Science Cologne in Germany. She has completed her work, and has given me permission to post the report and the more detailed survey results.
The following report is a summary of the thesis "Analysis of the usage and value of weblogs as a source of business news and information for information professionals and knowledge managers." It is based on a worldwide web survey, undertaken by the author, where information professionals and knowledge managers were asked about their usage and value of weblogs as a source of business news and information. The results were analysed to evaluate the importance of weblogs as such a source and to support this target market with an effective usage of weblogs.
Congratulations to Julia on completing your work!
p.s. Julia is looking for a knowledge management or marketing job in Europe.
