It's time for another all-about-me meme. I don't think I've posted one here in a long time, as most of them have moved over to Facebook and Twitter. (Thankfully, for the most part.)
My friend Girl Detective is from the Midwest and her lack of accent gives her away. Me too. This quiz asks 19 questions about how you pronounce various words in relation to one another.
Nimmy pegged me, and since I need to do some procrastinating, here we go. The idea is to tell you about what media sources I use.
What programming language are you? I am Smalltalk. This is yet another quiz running around the network. Not nearly as entertaining as "which superhero are you?"
I've been tagged by Jim. I was wondering if this game would wend my way (both hoping it would and dreading it). So, here are five things people may not know about me.
Some entertainment over the weekend. What are the good and bad things about my name?
Nancy White has pointed the way to a Johari Window tool that let's one see how others view them. I've started my own window by selecting a number of characteristics, and now I invite you to select from that same set of characteristics and see whether I project to you what I think of myself.
Why not spend your extra time in traditionally slow December, figuring out your personality via TinyURL. Just add your initials, and those of your friends and family, to the end of tinyurl.com.
Another do-this-instead-of-work meme for your pleasure. This time you ask Google what you need by doing a quoted search for "yourname needs".
If all goes well, this will be my 1000th post to Knowledge Jolt with Jack since I started in May 2003. Thanks to all my readers -- and thanks to all the people out there I read and who inspire me to think and participate.
More random fun for you - playing with the list of popular songs from your youth. If you aren't doing anything over Labor Day, that is.
